The first 50% of the rental invoice is due in order to reserve your dates. We accept Visa, MasterCard or Paypal. Please note we do not offer refunds.
The second 50% of the rental invoice, as well as the 1000$ security deposit are due the week prior to your departure.

Respecting the 24 hour cycles
To ensure the good flow in between travellers and to prepare the vans, we please ask you to respect the cycle of 24-hour rental.
For example: if you have taken the one week rental and you left on a Friday at 1:30 pm, this means that we will be waiting you the upcoming Friday at the same time for your return.
We reserve the right to charge you 50$ per hour, for every late hour.
Kilometers and fuel
You have the right to 250 km per day, (i.e. 1750 for one week, and 3500 for 2 weeks). Every extra kilometer will be billed at 0.15 $ + tx per km. You are responsible for fuelling the van during the trip.
At departure, your tank will be full. At your return, we expect it to be full as well.
A security deposit of 1000$ will be charged to your credit card at the moment of pickup.
This deposit is fully refundable and we will use it only when there is any damage or loss of equipment, lack of fuel, late fees, extra kilometers or cleaning fees.
Cleaning conditions of the vehicle
The renter is responsible to return the van in the same cleaning situation that it was picked up. We reserve the right to charge 100$ for cleaning fees if the cleanliness level is unacceptable.
All renters must have a valid drivers licence valid in Quebec - as well as in all the other provinces and states in their itinerary- for the whole rental period.
All drivers must be present at the moment of pickup and must have a copy of their valid licence. An international drivers licence is required for all foreign travellers.
Minimum driving age
All drivers must be 21 years old or more.
Drivers coming from outside Quebec
If the driver doesn't have an insurance policy valid in Quebec, we must charge a premium of 20$ per night of rental. This premium will be used to cover any damage higher to the first deductible 250$, which are at the expense of the renter.
Fines and traffic violations
If the renter gets any fines for traffic violations or parking tickets, he or she is responsible for paying these fees.
We reserve the right to share the renter's information as well as a copy of our rental agreement with the city and authorities from which the fine has originated.
If this happens, we will communicate with the renter and we reserve the right to charge administrative fees of 100$ for this inconvenience.
Smoking of all kinds is prohibited inside our vehicles.
Theft or damage
The renter is responsible for contacting Lazy Camper Van and the police if he or she is victim of theft.
The damages of windshields, tires, windows and body of the van are to be covered by the renter (driver).
Make sure you take note of any existing dents or damage to the car upon pickup by using the vehicle report sheet.
Any modification or removal of any car parts is completely forbidden.
Driving off roads is completely forbidden. The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle, body, tires and towing fees that may result from driving in wild or off-road zones.
All vehicles must stay within the province of Quebec, unless a written agreement has been made beforehand.
All the times the vehicle leaves the province without having signed a written agreement, the security deposit will be taken and will not be refunded.
Breakdowns on the road
If the renter experiences a breakdown, we ask him or her to contact us immediately and let us guide you through the situation.
All vehicles come with roadside assistance 24-7.
Executing any mechanical, electric or body works on the vehicle on your own is prohibited.
Failure to contact us and to continue to drive, or trying to repair the vehicle on your own is forbidden and will make your security deposit non refundable.
Your property and your objects
You release us from any responsibility of any damage or theft to any objects and property that you may carry or leave inside one of our vehicles or at our office.
All drivers must have a valid drivers licence, accepted by the local authorities in order to drive a vehicle in Quebec - and in all the provinces and states in their itinerary.
The renter agrees to show proof of a valid insurance policy for collisions and damage in Quebec.
The driver's insurance policy - as long as it comes from Quebec - will act as the main insurance policy in case of any damage or disaster.
If the renter does not have a valid insurance policy in Quebec, a mandatory premium of 20$ per day is required to protect against any damage or collisions.
